The Kingdom of Naples or Regno di Napoli is a large kingdom comprising of the southern part of the Italian peninsula. At the time of the series, Naples is attempting to assert itself of its own independence (Spain and France also claim the Kingdom as theirs). The capital of the Kingdom is of course Naples where the royal court is located. At the current time, its King is Alfonso II of Naples.
